Who this policy covers
This policy explains what Stonecraft Billings Concrete and Masonry collects when you use our website, why we collect it and what you can ask us to do with it. We're a masonry contractor in Billings, MT, and the site is here so homeowners can learn about our work and reach us for a quote.
It covers the home page and every other page on this site, plus the contact form and any message you send us through it. It doesn't cover other websites we link to, because those sites set their own rules.
What information we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us, plus some basic information about how the site gets used.
When you fill out our contact form, we get what you type in. That's usually your name, phone number, email, the address of the job and a short description of the work you need.
When you call us at (406) 318-2106 or email us, we keep the details you share so we can follow up on your project.
When you browse the site, your browser automatically sends some technical information. This can include your device type, browser, the pages you visit, how long you stay and the site that sent you here. We use it in summary form and don't use it to work out who you are.
How we use your information
We use your contact details to answer your question, set up an estimate, schedule the work and keep in touch about your job. If you reach out about a chimney or a driveway, we use what you sent us to talk with you about that chimney or that driveway, and nothing else.
We use the general site information to see which pages people find useful and to fix anything that's broken or hard to use.
We don't sell your information. We don't rent it out, and we don't hand it to other companies so they can market to you.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files your browser saves so a site can remember things between visits. Our site may use them to keep pages working properly and to count visits through an analytics tool, which shows us traffic in totals rather than by person.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work for reading about our services and contacting us.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that keep this site and our business running. Our contact form is run by an outside form provider, so what you submit passes through that service before it reaches us. Our website host and analytics tool also handle site data for us.
These companies handle the information so they can do their job for us, and they aren't allowed to use it for their own marketing. We'd also release information if the law required it, such as in response to a court order.
How long we keep it
We keep your contact details and job notes for as long as we need them to finish your project and handle any follow-up or warranty questions, and then for a reasonable time for our business records. Masonry work can raise a question years later, so having your job notes on file usually helps you.
If you'd rather we not keep your information, ask and we'll delete what we don't need to keep for legal or accounting reasons.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. You can also tell us to stop contacting you at any time.
Depending on the state you live in, the law may give you more rights over your personal information. We'll honor those rights when they apply to you.
We may need to confirm who you are before we act on a request, because we don't want to give your information to the wrong person.
Children's privacy
This site is for homeowners and property owners, not for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page. Any change applies from the time it's posted here, so check back if you want to see the latest version.
How to raise a privacy concern
If you have a question about your information or a concern about how we've handled it, call us at (406) 318-2106 or send a message through our contact page. We're reachable Mon–Fri: 6 AM–11 PM, Sat–Sun: 7 AM–11 PM, and we reply within 1 business day.
You can read more about who we are and how we work on our About page.
